What's your favorite key and why?
(Preview)
Not the first time this question came up here (or any other forum) but the answer sometimes changes over time.. For me, it used to be Bb (B flat) but since I have a Low F, I'm only rarely touching my other harps... I just loooove the sound of a low F. How about you?

Changing the Tuning on a Harmonica
(Preview)
I play Lee Oskars and I am not really happy with their 441 Equal Temperment - the chords sound like crap to my ears and the 441 tuning seems to go flat as my playing might be taking it down past 440. Hence I am looking to retune my harps to Just Intonation in either a 442 or 443 tuning. Does anyone have any ex...

swan chromatics
(Preview)
I'm thinking of experimenting with a chromatic harmonica to play some Little Walter 3rd position type stuff. I've never owned a chromatic harp before and I don't want to spend $200+ to find out that the chromatic is not for me. I've seen some Swan chromatics online from $25-$50. Does anybody on the for...

What's your favorite harmonica brand?
(Preview)
For me, it's Delta Frost (Bushman) and Harp Masters (Suzuki) all the way. I have been using some of them since I bought my first harmonica book from Jon (Gindick) 5-6 years ago and they are still playing like new... They are easy on the lips because of the plastic combs and easy to bend, what else do you w...
