A dear friend of mine, tragically, lost her Daughter in an auto accident caused by a drunk driver. I went to a funeral today. The music was voice only. No instruments of any kind... May well have been the best and most heart felt music I have ever heard in my life. Don't drink and drive.

It's the four or five blow on a particular harp that I am using. It doesn't sound right, at all -- like a squealing, grating noise. No amount of cleaning, change of technique/mouth positioning seems to be able to change the way it sounds. I know plenty of people probably post here thinking that they have...

Is it just me, or is it more difficult to get a single note on the one draw and two draw, than it is anywhere else? Does anyone have suggestions to overcome it? Thanks.

Got a chance to sit in with a band at one of their practice sessions. I think it's a pretty rowdy bunch. Their last "gig" was a baby shower at a biker bar! Wonder if a 38 will fit in my harp case? Should be interesting. I'll keep you posted.
