It would be great to hear from some of you jam campers! What was it Like to play and work with the big boys and girls? What are you working on now? What did you learn? It appears to me that the more advanced harpists use the pucker rather than the tounge-blocking method. (especially for more advanced effects) I am much better at tounge-blocking, should I work more on puckering, especially for bends? Best regards, Leon Stagg

Does anyone know of a resource for good backing tracks to play along with?

I was wondering about what metals make up a harmonica. I know brass is one. I guess my concern is the use of lead. I read that brass is an alloy of zinc and copper but some add lead to ease production. I hope that harmonica manufacturers don't use any lead. Any thoughts?

How might a harmonica player go about finding a guitar player to jam and practice with? I concider myself an intermeidate student of the harp, so I'm not looking to start a band and tour Europe. Live interaction with another musician would help mine and his/her progress. Should I run an add in the loc...

I would like to find out what model harmonica Bob Dylan is using on the song a simple twist of fate, from the blood on the tracks cd. I have a 10 hole key of A but all the notes don't seem to be there.

I have (2) G harps. An SP20 and a Delta Frost. I have a little trouble with the lower notes on both harps. I can't seem to get them broken in. Any ideas? -- Edited by Leon Stagg at 03:44, 2008-02-09
