I find when playing irish hornpipes and I have a sequence of two notes that are a major third apart , lets say D B to turn it into a triplet d c b, or d d b[the latterwith either tongueing on the first two notes or glottis glotting]anyone else play irish music on the harmonica and got any different ideas, this...

I playa io hole dannecker blues harp playing jigs, reels,etc.I use tongueing to create rhythmic variation, in jig time i turn three quavers into 4 etc. When I want to play single grace notes,is it better to use the same hole and change from blow to suck or slip up to the hole above but keep on blow, the se...

OK... I listened to Jon's version of People Get Ready. In the midst of the song, he did his "Train Whistle" (as he called it).
