I don't know what a piddliwick is, but it sounds as if it might be Irish. It wasn't listed in the Harvard Dictionary of Music.
I know what a Paddywack is. In Irish lingo, a paddywack is a pub brawl (fight). There's a great Irish tune for that special social occasion. It's called "The Paddywack."
