Well, I actually have an Access database that I keep track of my "keyed songs" in. I have one table that lists the song, band, harp player, song and harp key. Then I have a second table that links the songs to CD's. I do this because I burn a lot of my own CD's so that I have the songs I want all together. By doing it this way I can then print out the song lists with the keys and have it at my finger tips...I told you I was anal!
A few more that I THINK I have right:
CD: Blow Your Face Out - The J. Geils Band
Song........................Harp Key Southside Shuffle..........C Back to Get Ya...............Bb Shoot your Shot............A Musta Got Lost..............F Where Did Love Go.......D Truck Drivin Man............C Love-Itis........................G (?) Lookin for Love..............F Houseparty....................A So Sharp.......................G Detroit Breakdown........C Chimes..........................C Sno-Cone......................G Wait..............................F Raise Your Hand...........???? Start All Over Again......???? (No Harp) Give it To Me................C
Speaking of keys, what do you reckon this one is? Have not tried to find it yet, but I'm guessing G or A. sounds like something on the low end. Rhythm is oozing out of this man. After I watch this, I feel like pitching all my harps in the trash. I won't, but ...Wow!Sonny Boy II Link is not working, I'll keep working on it.
The ones I have are scattered all over the place. Some of them written on scraps of paper and some I have on the inside of the CD covers. I'll post them as I run on to them.
It would be great to have a record of several, all in one place. I think it's a worth wile effort. Let's keep at it
Thanks Michael. I'll update a bunch more before the weekend. I'm a little disappointed we're not getting more input from the other members but maybe it will catch on...
Thanks for adding to the list! I'll have to look that CD up. I hope we get some more contributions. I've got a bunch more that I'll continue to add and I'm always working on keying other CD's.

Jaymcc28, That's a good list. I have some songs and CD's key'd out like that. But it's in a rather haphazard order. I'll pass them along as I run on to them.
I have some of that O.C.D. I hear a song in my head. over and over. I'm sure there is a medication for that....I started playing the Harp.
Hi Guys and Gals, I'm a newbie and have been teaching myself (well, Jon has been teaching me via his books and videos!) how to play the harp since January. One of my favorite things to do is play along with songs in my vast collection of CD's. The appendix at the back of the Rockin' Blues book that listed entire albums along with the harp to play was extremely useful. I even wnet out and bought several of the albums listed so I could play along.
Now I like to take a group of blues and/or rock tunes and try to figure out what key harp I should be using. Being the O.C.D. candidate that I am I keep a list of the songs along with what harp "seems" to fit with the song. I print that list off (sorted by CD and track!) and keep it in my harp case. That way I can play a CD, match the harp to the song and play loud (and probably poorly!).
So, with that in mind would anyone be interested in sharing any harp keys they may know? I'll start the list off myself with a few (I think I have close to 100 songs keyed, including the songs from Jon's book that I happen to have on CD).
DISCLAIMER: I might be WAY off on some of these and I'd LOVE to hear feedback if anyone thinks so. For instance, I thought the Stone's Midnight Rambler was on the "A" harp but when I read somewhere on this forum Jon mention that the song was on an "E" harp I tried it out and, of course, he was right.
