With all my harps, I aways seem to just rotate among three keys.
C: for working, strengthening my techniques; and with my recent entry into the world of Jon Gindick, gives me real hope that hey, I really can do this!
A: for chugging and rhythms; this from Richard Sleigh and others!
Bb: for playing dirty blues out on the street; my little Piedmont really does the trick on this!
But too, I just received a Low F from TurboHarp. And I have to wholeheartedly agree with Dutch. I really do enjoy the sound and feel of this key! Am glad I had enough sense and curiousity to try it out!
Smiles!
Keep on jammin'

Not the first time this question came up here (or any other forum) but the answer sometimes changes over time..
For me, it used to be Bb (B flat) but since I have a Low F, I'm only rarely touching my other harps... I just loooove the sound of a low F. How about you?
