RE: Walking with Freddy Lick

Also, try chording by changing one of the 2D to 123D but alternate it like this:

2D 3D 3B 2B 123D 2B 2D 2B 123D 2B 2D 3D 3B 2B 123D 2B 2D 2B 123D 2D.....etc.

Once I get this repeating pattern I am trying to move around the harp a little bit like hitting the 1D after the 2B.

I am finding moving off this lick to the higher notes to be a little difficult but if anyone would like to contribute, please feel free.

My apologies for not knowing Freddy King - So many players, so little time.

However though: What do I call it when I read/hear yet another lick I'd like to learn amongst the 100 or so other riffs I'm currently working on?!

A: A good day!

Smiles!

Keep on jammin'! aww

For those of you who like Freddy King and his song Walking with Freddy, here is the main lick. Harp is in the key of D:

2D, 3D, 3B, 2B, 2D, 2B, 2D, 2B, 2D

Once you hear the song you can get the timing which is critical. He also hits the 2D in a kind of statacco (sp) fashion.
