Let me tell you guys....the Jam Camp in Charlotte was great! I am originally from the Orlando-Tampa area. (Spent way to many years in Gainesville also) But Charlotte was absolutely gorgeous this time of year. A very beautiful city in the downtown area! Clear blue skies...great temps in the 60's....and Jon did a great, great job running the Camp. Dennis Gruenling and Richard Sleigh were patient and kind with all of our numerous questions!

Maybe Jon will have another one in Et-lanna, Jawja!

Indeed Orlando would be perfect.
I have no problem spending the money and taking the time off to go a distant Camp, but She who must be Obeyed, see's it a little differently.
She could join me in Orlando there are so many other things to do she would amuse herself and not feel left out.

We can but hope.

I'm sure though that there would be a great attendance if there were to be one in Orlando.

I gotta strongly agree with Brian, he & I were just talking about this today (while I was picking up my new Harpgear amp..wooohooo!) If you do one in Orlando, there's lots of family guys from all over who'll be able to convince "she who must be obeyed" that there's plenty of fun stuff for the rest of the family to do while Papa's off blowing harp. People from out of town could make a week's vacation out of it, lots of hotels at a variety of levels, cheapest rental cars in America, theme parks, beaches, shopping, Kennedy Space Center, etc, etc

Plus like Brian said, there's a whole bunch of very active harp players all around Central Florida who would just love to attend, would gladly make the drive, but just can't do an extended stay out of town. I'd sign up in a heartbeat! Oh, and the Iceman already lives here! Yep, Orlando's the perfect venue.....offer it and they will come..........

I still think Orlando is the ticket and it will draw people to the area with theiir families as part vacation part camp. We also have a very active harmonica community that could come to the camps easier without having to throw airfare in the mix. We always have great turnout for seminars and such down here. Just my .02 though.

Our next Southern Camp will be in Charlottesville, NC first weekend of November.

Hope to see you there.

Any plans Jon for a Florida Jam Camp any time soon. I missed the Jax one, but have since met a few people who attended and I'd love to go to the next Florida camp, if there is going to be one?

Thanks
