I think it was amazing what we all did in the Sunday jam with full band behind us. I personally have never played that well before and have never sung lead vocals before. It all came so naturally by the end of the camp. (How does that happen, anyways?)
I agree with Todd that it was hard to take good notes. We should have pinned up flip chart notes in the main room so we could copy stuff down later.
I didn't take a camera. I would appreciate any links to digital pictures or video clips that you might have available.
I hope we get more of the camp alumni involved in the jams and chats.
btw I promised to add my email into my chat room profile but for some reason the site won't let me edit my profile at the moment. I will check next time.
I'm going on my own Jam Camp this saturday, a scoutcamp, well how say's you can't practise when you're on a scout camp too hehe.
Kenneth's personal goals "practices hand effect's, and good tone"
If there is any video or recordings of the jam's or anything from the camp up in the future that would be a real treat for those of us that diden't went to the jam camp 8-)
I couldn't agree with you guys more!! What a blast. It was great to meet you guys and all the other folks. Toamile, you really ripped that song at the final jam! Brian, your duo with Dennis was fantastic. I got some of my stuff on tape so (ugh) I know what I have to work on....like everything. Anyway, as Tom Ball sang, ....TOO MUCH FUN !!
It was great seeing you there. I posted the Dennis G videos at http://www.harpgear.com if you want to check them out. The jam on Sunday was a alot of un. It was amazing to see people and how well they sang and played outside the classroom enviorment.
I really had a great time at St. Louis camp. i'm looking forward to doing another camp some time soon.
I think i should have done a better job of writting things down. Jon and the other instructors gave the campers so much information. I learned several new things that i hope will take me to the next level.
thanks to everyone that make this camp great.
