Hello, Pete.

Please accept my apology for this very late reply. You asked your question on April 16th, 2009.

The slide-out keys of the Hering Vintage Blues 1040, 10-hole richter system slide chromatic are listed as A, Bb, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

Richter system note placement 10-hole slide harmonicas have the same note placement as the richter 10-hole diatonic harmonicas.

With the slide in on the Vintage harp, as with the other richter system slide harmonicas, the keys are all a half step (semitone) higher than the listed key.

Key

slide out: A     slide in: A# (Bb)

slide out: Bb   slide in: B

slide out: B     slide in: B# (C)

slide out: C     slide in: C#

slide out: D     slide in: D# (Eb)

slide out: E     slide in: E# (F)

slide out: F      slide in: F#

slide out: G      slide in: G# (Ab)

Best Regards

I think I may have found what I'm looking for. its made by Hering its a (1040) Vintage Blues 40
Its says it comes in the following keys A, Bb ,B, C, D, E, F, G Now I just need to find out what they slide too. I want to spice up some leads and i was using 2 harps 1 would be easier. I could find out with just a phone call. At a $140.00 price tag I need to be sure before I would buy it.

I'm looking for a harp thats a regular 10 hole diatonic but lets say it its A harp but when you press the slide its a D harp. I know horner makes what they call a slide harp but is only in the key of C as far as i know. and I don't know what it slides to F or G? Does anybody know if such animal excists that an A can slide to a D or visa-versa?

Keep the blues alive- Bionic Pete
