RE: Zoom MRT-3 Drum Machine

Hey, Paul. You are going to have to record something and post it to the jam forum so we can all hear what you're doing.

Hey Guys,Whem i,m at home,i have plenty of practice stuff here ,CDs, computer,Banjo, Metronone tuners,DVDs,. Its for everyplace else i practice. What started this whole thing was, after i got the Rhythm Chuggin CD from Jon,it improved my timimg so much by practicing with his drum beats, tracks 12,13,14,it opened the doors for me ,plus it sounds good to other people ,instead of the boring metronomes sounds. I can carry my smokey,BOB, zoomMrt3,in my royal crown bag, 3pullman cases on my belt, and go anywhere i want to practice.

When i mentioned to wife that i was getting a drum machine ,i thought she was gonna go thru the roof, she thought i was getting real drum set:smile:

Paul,

I use the lowest tech version of a drum machine out there - got the idea from watching Madcat Ruth. Bought a cheap high hat stand and cymbals and just tap out the backbeat with my right foot while playing harp or guitar. Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Its cheap, and its wireless :-)

Paul, you might want to check the "Bushman" forum or the "Big Road Blues Discussion" forum. There are all kind players there (from beginners to pros) who use various types of hardware with their harmonica and who are always ready to help somebody if they can. And if you get some useful info, don't forget to post it here, you never know who you can help with it later on.......

Hey Paul, no 'bones' about it (well, maybe my old bones,) don't know anything about your drum machine, but thought I'd say hi anyway.

As far as Oh suzie q, that is old as the hills, just wanted to draw replies, maybe learn of a new download site or new tab site ,never know what you might learn from a reply. And i always look foreward to reading replies from, Dutchbones, jbones, and jawbones and any other bones in here ,lol. Anyway ,Happy Harpin, Paul:smile:

Hi Paul,
Sorry that you didn't get any replies on your drum machine and your keyboard post. I guess that there are no players at this forum with this kind of equiptment or at least the ones who read your post. I guesss there are probably better forums available for this elsewhere.
I do disagree with you though that this is not "the place for help". It seems to me that you got some very helpful responses on your other posts here (Smokey amp, Mic jack, Drum machines & slowdowners etc) And lets be honest, questions such as "where can I download Oh Suzie Q" well.... you should be able to figure that out by yourself.
Also, your older posts are "buried" because there are no responses, howzabout "reviving" them by adding a positive comment that will putt hem on top of the list again, some time has past and perhaps now there will be somebody who can help you.
Whatever, stay positive Paul, you can't win them all
